Large, ultrawide, and curved monitors are making their way into the office space; however, there are few guidelines available that can help ergonomists set up these monitors for users. This talk will review our current knowledge on positioning these displays and key implementation issues.
Dr. Gallagher is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She obtained her PhD in 2015 from the University of Waterloo. Her current research focuses on low back and neck biomechanics in the workplace. Dr. Gallagher also looks at current issues through a macroergonomics perspective to understand how other parts of our work-system influence individual performance and well-being.
