Presenter: Laura Maguire, PhD
(This webinar will be presented in English)

Laura is a Research Engineer who studies human performance in high risk/high consequence work. In particular, she is interested in the interplay between tools, technologies and work practices and expert judgements under conditions of stress, uncertainty and time pressure. Her research has spanned many domains including healthcare, forestry, oil & gas, mountain operations and critical digital infrastructure.
She has a Master’s degree in Human Factors & Systems Safety and a PhD in Cognitive Systems Engineering from the Ohio State University and draws from 15 years of experience working in safety and risk management in industrial settings.
