2023/03/23 - Congratulations to Rachel Mitchell, M.Sc., R.Kin., CCPE for being awarded the AEC & Liberty Mutual Ergonomics Practitioner of the Year Award. This award recognizes achievements in the creative application of ergonomics, including process improvement, education, applied instrumentation and product development.
Rachel is a Managing Ergonomist & Return to Work Consultant at ERGO Inc. She is the ergonomics subject matter expert on Staples Canada's Work from Anywhere Council and created educational ergonomics videos for Staples and anyone working from home. She successfully reduced injury risk at an international aerospace company, climbed to new heights while working for the electricity and utilities sector, spoke at many international events, all while mentoring ERGO Inc.'s team of Ergonomists.

2022/08/22 - The Association of Canadian Ergonomists – L’Association Canadienne d’ergonomie (ACE) is excited to announce the recent selection of member Margo Fraser as an International Ergonomics Association (IEA) Fellow. 2021/08/27 - At the recent IEA Triennial Conference, several of our members were recognized with awards and appointments. Dr. Jim Potvin was awarded the IEA Triennial Outstanding Educators Award in recognition of his 24 years of teaching at McMaster University, and his current online teaching of ergonomics for the Center for Occupational & Environment Health at the University of California - Berkeley.
