The Association of Canadian Ergonomists – L’Association Canadienne d’ergonomie (ACE) is excited to announce the recent selection of member Margo Fraser as an International Ergonomics Association (IEA) Fellow. She, along with 6 others from different societies were selected in recognition of outstanding and sustained performance in the field of ergonomics and human factors. Margo served on the ACE council regionally (Prairie and Northern region), and nationally as president elect and president. She also served as the IEA secretary general, representing ACE, and was responsible for the Canadian bid for the 2021 IEA Triennial World Congress. Margo also played a key role in the creation of the Canadian College for the Certification of Professional Ergonomists. In addition, Margo was the executive director for the association for several years and in that time, worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the ACE national conferences and initiated the Ergonomics Canada magazine.
