Banff is located 130 km (80 miles) west of Calgary, Alberta in the Rocky Mountains. The Banff Centre site offers excellent directions and maps from Calgary to Banff at https://www.banffcentre.ca/destination

Calgary International Airport (airport code YYC) is serviced daily by numerous carriers (see http://www.yyc.com/ for details).

Transportation options to get from Calgary Airport to Banff include car rental, the Banff Airporter and Brewster Tours
ACE has arranged discounts with both of these transportation companies!

To receive a 15% discount on the Brewster Banff Airport Express (BBAE), book on-line at http://www.brewster.ca/brewster-banff-airport-express/ and enter ACE-ODAM2017 in the promo code box on the 'check out' page.  This code is valid from Wednesday July 26, 2017 through Tuesday August 8, 2017.

To receive a 15% discount on the Banff Airporter for the Calgary-Banff shuttle services, book on-line at www.banffairporter.com and enter the code ACEODAM2017 in the promo code box on the final payment page to receive the discount. You can also book via phone at 888-449-2901 and mention that you are attending the Association of Canadian Ergonomists and ODAM conference.

Car rental is also available from the airport, however please note that Banff will be quite crowded in this high tourist season and a car is not necessary in Banff as there is a free bus service and much can be accessed by foot.

National Park Passes

The townsite of Banff is located in Banff National Park. All visitors must have a park pass for entry. As part of Canada's 150th Birthday, Parks Canada has waived National Park fees for 2017!  You will still need to stop at the kiosks at the park entry to receive a pass if you do not have one.
